Minimized!
It's gone! After 20 years of continuous classic Mini Cooper ownership (21 years, discontinuous) I'm now no longer the curator of one of these little beasts. An odd feeling but it was time. Rallying will continue but my co-drivership will be on a 'gun for hire' basis. And just in case any of you are wondering where PRX 720B has gone, I'm pleased to say the answer is "nowhere"! Bill Richards is now its full-time caretaker and the vehicle will remain in the Ashford workshop of Bill Richards Racing where it has resided for the past 12 years.

Claire has come to the sad but inevitable decision that after 18 months on the drive immobile owing to excess rust, Mabel the Mini needs to move on. WE can't afford to get her running again. The engine is fine, just almost no bodywork left. Do you know anyone who might like a restoration project?
It's a sad time but you've got to let go at some point. You could try giving Bill a call but honestly the easiest think to do is advertise on GumTree or similar. Resto project Minis go for surprising amounts of money: price range seems to be £500-1500 depending on what needs doing.
